The family has been declared "convention refugees" by the UN.
The Metchosin Refugee Sponsorship Group is monitoring Nadeem's situation in Thailand. We have received good news that our application for private sponsorship has been officially recognized and is being processed by the Government of Canada. We have also received more offline donations, which has helped our fundraising efforts.
